As the world's oldest reigning monarch as well as Britain's longest-living figure head, Queen Elizabeth, who was born on April 21 1926, in Mayfair, London, has seen her country change dramatically over her 64-year reign. The world has also seen her highness transform (barely) with the changing times.
The ultra private, super stoic, majorly intimidating (despite her grandma appearance and cute matching outfits) Queen has made an effort to get up and get with the times.
Other than doing Queeny things like sitting in a throne and doing charity, the Queen is a super keen photographer and enjoys taking pictures of her family and events. Some how though we can't imagine that she's into selfies though.
The queen is a massive dog lover, specifically corgis! She's owned more than 30 during her reign. She also introduced a new breed of dog known as the dorgi when one of her corgis was mated with a dachshund named Pipkin that belonged to Princess Margaret.
Got car problems? Don't worry, the Queen will figure it out! Apparently she is the only British monarch in history properly trained to change a spark plug, when she undertook a car-maintenance course during World War II.
It's a bit embarrassing but the queen got internet savvy before most of us. She sent her first e-mail in 1976, from a British army base.
Want to see the Queen in 3D? You can. In 2003, the Queen sat for her first and only hologram portrait. It's made up of more than 10,000 images of the Queen layered over one another, giving it a 3-D effect.
