For the most part, flying has always been real simple - get to the airport, get on a plane, land. It's almost automatic even. Dubai's strategic location in the Middle East gives travelers access to many popular destinations. Because of that, airplanes can be pretty busy sometimes and in the process we get introduced to the many personalities inside the plane we are in. Here are five persons you might have encountered before in a Dubai flight.
The First-timer

These passengers are either (A) Extremely excited, or (B) extremely nervous. They are still amazed at the idea of flight and at times will ask you about your own experiencing with flying. Don't break it to them that flights can be a chore, let them see it for themselves.
The Sleepyhead

As soon as the lights in the cabin are shut off, this passenger will make his/her way towards dreamland. In the process, they'll put their head on your shoulder, snore loudly, and stretch their limbs like no tomorrow. Maybe you should give them a neck pillow for a change.
The Slow Boarder

So you're boarding the plane, and this one person takes their precious time stowing their bag in the overhead cabin. It would be a normal flight where everybody will go to their seats and stow their bags as well. Just, then at the most awkward moment, The Slow Boarder decides to stand up and takes out his bag to get some travel essentials out. Your iPad can wait right?
The In-Flight Gourmet

These types of passengers are foodies and they make it known throughout the cabin. The smell of their home-cooked dish emanates through the airplane's cooling system and makes you hungrier. In a way, you're tempted to ask "Hey can I have some of that?"
The Photographer

Imagine resting your head throughout the flight, relaxing right? Now imagine sleeping and then the passenger beside you opens the windows and the harsh morning light shines on you. Good morning? We'll leave it to you to decide.
The World Traveller

"Oh yeah, I've been to [insert obscure country here] and its soooo great, you should go there!" This passenger then browses through their phone to show you photos from the place. At times, it can get tiring especially when you just want to sleep, but in some cases it's great because they might give you pro-tips on what to see in your destination.
