"Mera kuch din pehle break up hua hai, so no phone calls please" (after spending 'some' time )...Shyra (Vaani) quips to Dharam the two centeral characters in Yash Raj Films or YRF's latest Befikre which premiers in Dubai this evening at Dubai International Film Festival.
And contrary to cult movies like Chandani, Dilwale Dulhaniya le jaayenge, it is evident YRF is moved on with times and is always ahead and this time it is relating to millennials and Generation Y who like taking life and living it up every moment.. .there is no time to shed tear.
All the tracks are foot tapping thanks to Vishal-Shekhar, the title track is sung by famous Benny Dayal and lyrics are penned by Jaideep Sahni. Daring you to watch the movie, you will never come back the way you went in, it will for sure make you Befikre.
The story celebrates being carefree in love. A quintessential Delhi boy Dharam (Ranveer Singh) comes to Paris for work in search of an adventure. Just when he was about to embark on this journey of his life he bumps into a wild, free spirited, French born Indian girl Shyra (Vaani Kapoor).
 
A feisty romance ensues between the two in which both of their personalities - one being an equal match for the other are tested to the limit. Battling their ups and downs, both realise that love is a leap of faith that can only be taken by those who dare to love.
'Befikre' will have its world premiere at the 13th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF). Shot widely in Paris, "Befikre" is a progressive, fresh interpretation of love as viewed in the 21st century.
