Nude photos of top Hollywood actress leaked online

Fans showed support for the star in addition to shock

Princess Diaries' actress Anne Hathaway's photos were leaked online earlier on Wednesday. It is believed to be part of an ongoing cyberattack on celebrities and their personal accounts.

According to the Hindustan Times, links of the leak photos spread like wildfire on social media with many supporters of the Oscar-winning actress condemning the hack.
Hathaway is the latest victim in a string of attacks pointed toward celebrities which harkens back to the 2015 'Celebgate' hack which targeted many famous figures. As many as 500 private photos were leaked during that time. A-listers such as Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton were among the victims.

Users on Twitter were fuming at the attack on Hathaway with many of her supporters clamouring for her protection. Some also requested hackers to stop their activities.
