Dubai Properties (DP) has announced that it has completed the first residential tower at its Dubai Wharf development, and that the residential units are being handed over to owners three months ahead of schedule
The multi-million dirham Dubai Wharf development consists of four towers, overlooking the historic Dubai Creek, in the heart of Culture Village. Two other towers in the luxurious mixed-use waterfront project are scheduled for completion in Q1, 2017, while the fourth tower and the development's retail space will be completed later in Q4, 2017. Although most units have been sold in the trendy residential project, some units are still available for sale for immediate handover.
Abdullah Abu Shabeib, senior executive director of customer care and government relations at DP, told Khaleej Times that the development had generated a lot of interest since its inception, and that customers were delighted at the first tower's completion ahead of schedule. He also explained that the whole development was designed with accessibility and comfort in mind. When completed, the retail division in the development will boast more than a 100 retail units and include several food & beverage outlets.
Speaking about the progress of the Dubai Wharf destination, he said: "The completion and handover of the project ahead of schedule is in line with, and testament to DP's commitment to delivering projects on schedule. Dubai Wharf is Dubai's newest sought-after address in the heart of Culture Village, the city's future landmark for leisure, dining and entertainment, with magnificent views of the historic Dubai Creek. With upscale residential units, leisure and retail offering, Dubai Wharf is set to enrich life on Dubai creek, playing an integral part in bringing this iconic waterfront destination to life."
Dubai Wharf's 594 studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, feature deluxe surfaces with high quality porcelain ceramic tiles, wooden doors, and marble and granite topped work surfaces and vanity counters.
