Father kills wife, child in front of two other sons

The man hit his 18-month-old baby with a hammer on the head and stabbed his wife five times with a dagger.

In a horrific incident in Delhi, a woman and her 18-month-old baby were killed by her husband in the presence of the couple's two other sons, aged six and four.  
The husband, according to a report in the Hindustan Times, is absconding. The police have alleged that the man spent the night with dead bodies and his two sons. He left the house at 6 am on Tuesday. 
It has now emerged that the man hit the 18-month-old baby with a hammer on the head and stabbed his wife five times with a dagger between 9 and 11 pm. 
The police have now revealed that the man suspected his wife of having an affair and assumed that the toddler was not his child.  
The wife's family has raised a suspicion about the involvement of the in-laws in the murder of their daughter. She was staying at her parents since last year as her husband harassed her after getting drunk.
 A case of murder has been reinserted and four teams are on a hunt to nab the husband.
