A fire broke out at Crystal tower residential complex in Mumbai's Elphinstone road area on Wednesday morning.
Four people have been reported died and 14 others were injured in the blaze.
A complaint has been lodged on charges of criminal offense against the society officials. The building has been declared unsafe and cooling operations have begun, said a fire department official.
16 resident were taken to the hospital, reports ANI. Two out of them were brought in dead and others are in relatively stable condition.
