One Philadelphia teenager's mom took his prom to the extreme, spending $25,000 (Dh 91,825 )on a camel, three tons of sand and exotic cars. He brought three dates, all in custom-made gowns, and wore three different outfits himself.
Saudia Shuler says she had thought of sending her only son, Johnny Eden Jr., to Dubai for a visit. Instead, she decided to bring Dubai to Philadelphia for the formal dance.
She brought the sand and the camel into their neighborhood for photos. Luxury cars, including a Rolls Royce and a Lamborghini, were on loan for the evening.
Shuler says it was all worth it. She says she fought cancer and suffered from a stroke in the past few years. She told herself if she was going to make it, she would put on a big prom for her son.

Yesterday was so fun, not only was I apart of a huge production that didn't go exactly to plan but came out to be an extraordinary event. First I want to thank @countrycookin1 for hiring me and secondly adding a Lil bit of creative input in last night. She's an amazing mother who will keep it ?? with you at all times. She is a hustler, a business woman, a creative, a cook, a mother, an entrepreneur and a hard working boss who won't take no for an answer and will make a way by any means for herself, her family and community. She's fought for her life, her child and her business so she's does whatever she wants and that's what you call an OG !!! Thanks @theshaderoom for the post and sharing with over 9Million people. And for all the haters she can spend her money any way she likes. Her son has an all expense paid full ride scholarship to the College he wants, A 3.9 GPA and he's one of the most humblest young men I know. Stop judging others and commenting because of your own shitty experiences and child hoods. This was an amazing night and peaceful something Philly my city especially needs more of!
