PIA flights engine catches fire in Multan

This time PIA flight PK581 from Multan to Karachi was stopped on the runway before take off as fire erupted in its engine, Samaa reported.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is making headlines again just days after its aircraft crashed in a mountainside in Pakistan on Wednesday.
This time PIA flight PK581 from Multan to Karachi was stopped on the runway before take-off as fire erupted in its engine, Samaa reported.
According to officials, fire fighters put out the blaze that had erupted in the left engine of the ATR-42 aircraft.
All passengers were safe in the incident, according to Samaa.
Earlier on Wednesday, a PIA flight carrying 47 people had crashed en route to Islamabad from the northern city of Chitral. There were no survivors.
