53-year old German national Horst Koenig confessed in court that he murdered his wife of ten years Grace (37) so he could go on a holiday in Thailand.
The culprit used a blunt object on the temple of his wife before suffocating her and dividing her body into eight pieces which he proceeded to stuff in plastic bags that were discovered by authorities in a warehouse.
Prior to his Thailand trip, he sent emails to Grace's family stating that she left her and that he would win her back. Koenig went to Thailand to meet up with a lady she met and chatted with on the Internet, the court finds.
Koenig's trial is expected to end next week with a lifetime sentence on the grounds of premeditated murder.
