Until last year, Abu Shagara area in Sharjah hosted the used car market. It has since been moved to a new area along the Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed road. However, a lot of its remnants are still around: road signs. Our residential area has a number of 'no entry' and 'no left turn allowed' road signs, which were installed during the used car market days to ease traffic flow in the area. However, there is no need for them now. We request the authorities uninstall them as they are quite unnecessary and create hassle to the residents of the area.
