The One Mantra: Consistence, Persistence and Self belief
Mohiuddin Sardar (Abu Dhabi)
29 July 2009 My personal experience with bad time has been prolonged and difficult. But the good moments would not have been as sweeter without the experience of the bad ones. Normally whenever I faced a difficult time, I used to think that this situation will pass and the coming time will be better than the present. I tried to be patient and tried not do some further mistakes and waited the storm to subside.
At time when it was unbearable and I was at the verge of collapsing; I cried to God for help. Within no time I got help. There were several incidents where I got divine help. This has increased my self-belief and made my faith stronger. These patches of difficult time have taught me to work hard and try to give my best, so that I never fell in similar situation.
Always a setback or bad patch was rewarded with some lesson. When I suffered from chronic migraine, I read in medical books that one of the cause of migraine is having high ambitions. On learning this I adjusted my goals and changed my outlook to follow a middle path of slow but steady wins the race philosophy. This change in attitude plus a 6 month yoga help cure my migraine. Unbelievable but true.
