Passengers suffer as Abu Dhabi-Kerala flight gets delayed

Abu Dhabi - An executive from Air India Express office only confirmed the incident and said the flight had left from Abu Dhabi airport.

A flight to the south Indian state of Kerala from Abu Dhabi got delayed by 20 hours putting passengers in a lot of trouble.
Air India Express flight IX348 from Abu Dhabi was set to fly at 12:15 am to Kozhikode but got delayed by more than 20 hours and finally flew by 7:30 pm.
"Most of us are here from 9:00pm on Wednesday. There are lots of families with children in this flight. We were told that there was a delay and given accommodation at a hotel, which was sub-standard too. We were told that the flight was rescheduled for 5:00pm on Thursday," Nizam, a passenger said.
Another passenger said that they were told to board after 5:00pm but there was no air condition till the flight finally flew after 7:30pm.
"This is the worst experience ever. So many families and children had a harrowing time," a passenger said.
