Continuing its innovative ideas to bring smiles to residents, Ajman Municipality now transformed the red light smiley at the traffic signals into a victory sign.

Dr Engineer Mohammed bin Omair, head of the engineering department at Ajman Municipality said that the municipality supports all the initiatives which interpret the wise vision of the Ajman Government, which is aimed at spreading the positive values and transforming them into lifestyles.

The initiative started with a smiley face and now we change it to victory sign to instill happiness and strength in the residents. He said that the idea of replacing the red signal with the emoticon was proposed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, chairman of the Ajman municipality and planning department, as part of his vision of creating a happy and optimistic society in the emirate.

Stating that happiness and the well-being of all residents is the top priority of the civic body, which will continue taking all necessary steps to realise the noble objective.
