The General Department of Anti-Narcotics of the Dubai Police arrested two Asians and charged the first suspect for possession and sale of drugs, and the second suspect for possession of drugs and resisting police officials as they seized 4kg of heroin.
The Dubai Police received information that the two suspects were dealing in drugs to be distributed among youngsters in the country.
Colonel Eid Mohammed bin Thani, director of the general department of anti-drug said the room of the first suspect, L.A, a 28-year-old, construction worker was raided. He lived in a labour accommodation in Dubai. He tried to escape from the police but they nabbed him. The next day, the police arrested the second suspect, H.A.T, a 36-year-old salesman who works for a private company. He was arrested from near a shopping mall in Abu Dhabi in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Police. The suspect fiercely resisted the police, but was finally arrested.
The police seized the capsules weighing 4kg in total and hidden in black bags kept inside plastic bags. The first suspect confessed that the got the drugs from the second suspect who used to instruct him to sell the drugs.
