Dubai - According to prosecution records, the 54-year-old Indian man threatened to kill his business partner and her family if she cut their work relation.

A businessman allegedly threatened his female compatriot and exposed himself in front of her following disagreements related to their partnership, the Court of First Instance heard.

According to prosecution records, the 54-year-old Indian man threatened to kill his business partner and her family if she cut their work relation.
He is also accused of taking down his trousers and exposing himself to her in and prior to November last year. He stood trial, accused of blackmail, making criminal threats, insult via e-mail, committing an indecent act in public and physical assault. He allegedly also slapped the woman.

The complainant, a 54-year-old, said the accused is a partner in her company. "He insulted and threatened me. He also slapped me on the face and exposed himself to me. That was over some administrative disagreements and it happened in front of the sales manager," she told the prosecutor.
The sales manager, a 30-year-old from India, said the accused would always make trouble. "He threatened to kill her if she did not give him the power to sign cheques".

The manager also said she was present when he lowered his trousers and stood naked in front of the complainant in the office.
The Nepali operation supervisor, 29, said he saw the accused slapping and insulting the woman and unzipping his trousers.

The e-mail sent by the accused to the complainant with the abusive content was enclosed by the public prosecution as evidence to the case.

The trial has been adjourned to December 19.
