There's an eclectic mix of activities this weekend ranging from Donald Trump's controversial inauguration to the much awaited Dubai Marathon. Other than that, here are our top picks of things you can do this weekend. We've even got all the best free events for you!

When: January 20, 6PM Where: Central Galleria, Mall of the Emirates This is a free event It's not about money, money, money this Friday at Mall of the Emirates! Listen to British pop singer Jessie J at the Central Galleria for free as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival.
Take selfies with the King of Bollywood
When: January 21, 2-5PM Where: Bollywood Parks, Dubai Parks and Resorts Tickets available at dubaiparksandresorts.com Shah Rukh Khan, Raees himself, will be in Dubai's Bollywood Parks this weekend to promote his latest film. The Bollywood actor who is no stranger to the city of Dubai will also be relaunching the popular Ra-One ride as well as performing and interacting with fans. Concerned about breaking the bank? Cheer on the runners of Dubai Marathon
When: January 20, 6:30 AM Where: Umm Suqeim Road This is a free event While some of you might be running, why not get in on the festive appeal of cheering on the finishers of the Dubai Marathon? There are grandstands located along Umm Suqeim Road as well as exciting pavilions so the kids can have fun while you shout "Congratulations" to all the fabulous finishers. See a film from Palestine

Visit a pop-up market in Burj Khalifa
