Within only 48 hours of its release, Dubai Ruler's book has witnessed huge demands across bookstores in the country.
Reflections on Happiness and Positivity, written by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, sold 20,000 copies so far ever since he announced its release on Twitter on Saturday.
According to the book's publisher, Explorer, 20,000 more copies are being printed to be available by the end of this week in bookstores.
The English edition, currently in production process, is expected to be released next week in across UAE bookstores.
"The demand has been growing by the minute, and we might have to reprint the copies," a spokesperson at Explorer told Khaleej Times.
An ebook and audiobook version will also be available across different platforms for Android, Apple and Google. However, no timeframe was given at the mean time.
Meanwhile, Dubai Library Distributors reported a sell-out of their first 200 copies across their branches, saying that customers have ordered more than 1,000 additional copies.
"We ordered more books from Explorer, and we are waiting for more copies to fulfill customer demand," said Mohammed Ahsan from the purchase department at Dubai Library Distributors.

About 500 copies have been ordered from Magrudy's branches within the first 48 hours. While copies are still available, they are fast-selling, according to the headquarters. The Jumeirah branch already sold 80 on shelf.
Borders at Mall of the Emirates has received 500 copies from the publisher, with half of them already sold to customers and 100 more orders placed online.
The book explores vision of management and development based on optimism and positivity. Sheikh Mohammed had said it includes lessons, examples and stories based on a different life philosophy: positivity as a perspective, happiness of people as a goal and lifestyle.
Through it, Sheikh Mohammed said he tried to answer common complex questions in a rather simple storytelling manner to make the book relatable to the young generation.
