Dubai - Concerned Dubai residents took to Twitter to share visuals of the raging fire.

A fire started in a residential building in Oceana complex, Dubai's Palm Jumeirah, Monday late night.
11:45 pm
Mahmood Hamad, spokesperson of the Dubai Civil Defense said the fire kept spreading due to wind.
"They could not find where the fire started or on which floor as they are still battling the fire and trying to keep it under control," he added.
The civil defence officials evacuated the building to ensure people's safety. Ambulance and disaster management team were present at the site.

According to an eyewitness, "The fire started at about 10:30 pm in Oceana residence."
"At least 10 floors are on fire. It started high. Then molten debree fell lower and the lower floors caught fire," the eyewitness said.

Fire brigades from Al Quoz, Hameria and Karama were rushed to the site.
