Free parking in Dubai for Hijri New Year holiday

Dubai - RTA announces timings public transport timings for the holiday.

All paid parking zones, except multi-level parking lots, would be free to use across Dubai on Thursday to mark the New Hijri Year holiday, giving residents two days of free parking. Parking fees would be reactivated on Saturday, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the metro's Red Line stations will operate from 5.30am to 1am (of the following day), and the Green Line stations will operate from 5.50am to 1am.

The Dubai tram will be in service from 6.30am to 1am.

Buses

Main bus stations such as the Gold Souq station will operate from 5am to 1am. Al Ghubaiba station will be in service from 5am to 12.10am. Sub-stations such as Satwa will start from 5am to 11.35pm, except for Route C01, which operates around the clock.

Al Qusais station will run its bus service from 4.30am to 12am, Al Quoz industrial station will be in operation from 5am to 11.30pm, while Jebel Ali station will start business from 5am and continue up to 12am.

Metro link bus stations at Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa, Abu Hail, and Etisalat will be in service from 5am to 12.20am. All Metro feeder routes are synchronised with the metro timetables.
