Indian wins $1 million at Dubai Duty Free

Dubai - There are total of 114 Indians in the list of the Dubai Duty Free millionaires.

Farhaan Arman, an Indian national based in Bangalore, India, has joined the list of Dubai Duty Free's dollar millionaires, after he won when he purchased only his second ticket -- ticket number 2324 in Series 239 --  which was drawn on Tuesday at Concourse B of Dubai International Airport.
Arman, a 31-year old, trader couldn't believe he won a million and commented, "This is one of the best things that ever happened to me. Thanks to Dubai Duty Free for my lucky win!"
The Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion was launched in June 1999 and has announced 239 winners till date. There are total of 114 Indians in the list of the Dubai Duty Free millionaires.
Dubai Duty Free also conducted a Finest Surprise draw directly after the Millennium Millionaire and announced winners of the luxury car and motorbike.
Muhammad Sheraz, a 29-year old businessman from Nawabshah, Pakistan won a BMW 750Li xDrive M Sport (mineral white) in Series 1650 with ticket no. 1059.
While a sports Ducati Monster 821 was won by Mark Ruddock, a British national living in Dubai. Ruddock won his Superbike in Series 301 with ticket no. 0087. The winner was not available for immediate comments but will no doubt be surprised when he learns of his fantastic win.
The winning ticket numbers were drawn by Dubai Duty Free senior officials namely Ramesh Cidambi, Chief Operating Officer, Salah Tahlak, Executive Vice President - Corporate Services, Nic Bruwer, Executive Vice President - Commercial, Sean Staunton, Senior Vice President - Retail Sales and Michael Schmidt, Senior Vice President - Retail Support.
