Many parts of the UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, were covered in thick, dense fog on Monday morning.

The national met agency, NCMS, has predicted foggy weather over the next few days.

NCMS inform residents on Twitter about the fog's formation across the country, with satellite images showing patches of fog descending over the UAE:

The detailed weather forecast for today is fair to partly cloudy weather over some areas. Moderate winds, freshen at times over western sea areas.

The relative humidity is likely to increase by night and tomorrow early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog/mist formation over the next few days.

Mercury is likely to drop to 12°C while the maximum temperature is expected to be around 28°C.

Sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf becoming moderate by night and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
