The Dubai Police rescued two truck drivers who were trapped in their vehicles after a strong collision near Dubai-Al Ain Road.

The search and rescue teams of the General Department of Transport and Rescue at the Dubai Police rescued the drivers who were trapped inside the driving cabins. One of the drivers sustained serious injuries and the other suffered moderate injuries.

Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Ateeq Bourguiba, Deputy Director of the Dubai Police Search and Rescue Department, rushed to the accident scene after the operations room received information about the accident that occurred on an unpaved road towards the landfill on Dubai-Al Ain Road.

Cabins of both the trucks were severely damaged, which made it impossible for the drivers to escape. The police teams used hydraulic cutters to open the cabins and rescued the drivers, who were then shifted to the hospital.
