Eat the World DXB recently closed its doors over the weekend. The food truck festival, which took place in Burj Park was in line with the month-long Dubai Food Festival that runs until March 11th.
In its three-day run, Eat the World DXB attracted many gourmet food trucks from around the globe. They served up world-class street food to many Dubai residents - burgers, ice cream, cakes and many other classic staples. Their eclectic selection attracted even passersby. But no other visit comes close to when Dubai's Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, visited Eat the World. The Crown Prince is very active around town so it comes as no surprise when he came by and tried out The Burg Khalifa - the 24-karat gold leaf burger boasting of 5 wagyu beef patties.

According to The Roadery - the food truck geniuses behind the Dh230 burger, the Crown Prince came to the event with his entourage to try out the Burg Khalifa. A post on their Instagram page shows Sheikh Hamdan enjoying his golden meal.
