UAE traffic: Sharjah-Dubai road facing heavy delays

Those commuting in Dubai will find small pockets of traffic as they go further towards Sharjah. 
For those driving in from Sharjah to Dubai, Al Ittihad road is completely blocked until the Dubai International airport. 
Shaikh Zayed road is frequently inundated with blockages from Al Marabea exit to Safa Park. 
Ras al Khor road also causing delays.
Traffic will be lighter on the alternate route into Dubai, via Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed road.
There was a collision between a truck and a taxi on Sheikh Zayed Road next to the bridge in the direction of the roundabout near the Mall, causing delays.
