UAE is the choice of the millionaires to enjoy the luxuries their money can buy. In the list of the top-rated Middle East hotels for HNWIs, 2017, Dubai's Burj Al Arab figures second after Mandarin Oriental in Turkey.
The other hotels in the top five from the region include Emirates Place in Abu Dhabi and Jumeirah Mina A'Salam from Dubai.
Shaped like a ship, the Burj Al Arab is the fourth tallest hotel in the world. It stands on an artificial island, 280 metres from the Jumeirah beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. It is a usual choice of destination among international celebrities visiting the city.
The hotels were rated according to these criteria - a) Appeal to wealthy clients, b) Level of service, c) Reputation and history.
