In a lovely gesture, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, paid a visit to the widow of the late Obeid Mohammed Al Helou.
The post on his twitter feed reads: "On Mother's Day. I was honoured to visit Fatima Ibrahim bin Salman, widow of the late Obeid Al Helou. I heard only good things about her. An Emirati mother who not only dedicated herself to her family, but also to this society, giving back in an unlimited, selfless way. thank you to all the mothers. may every year smile upon you and all mothers of the world with its blessings."
In a video linked with the post, Fatima can be heard saying, "Your visit is a great honour for me."
"It is my pleasure to come and visit you. Thank you for all of what you've done, your reputation precedes you. you do goodness and are blessed," said Sheikh Mohammed.
She responds: "We wish we could come and visit you. what is the reward of goodness except for more goodness."
At the end of the video, the following words appear on the screen: "Words fail to describe the purity of your hearts and the greatness of your sacrifice and the amount of love you have given our universe. may your years be filled with love. Sheikh Mohammed."
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Crown Prince of Dubai, also accompanied Sheikh Mohammed during the visit. 

Her husband, Obeid Al Helou, received the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work in its tenth local iteration and sixth regional iteration in 2012. He is one of Dubai's oldest forerunners in humanitarian and philanthropic works, as per Al Bayan report.
He built schools and mosques and housing developments, hospitals and care centres, as well as offering financial support to detainees and prisoners. He was born and raised in Dubai's Al Ras area, 1921. He was the first to open a charity wedding hall in Dubai, inaugurated a school and university in Masfoot area, and opened the Obeid Al Helou Centre for Motherhood and Childhood in Ajman's Mushairif area, as well as donated money for twenty villas in Ajman's Al Jurf area.
His international works are his building Khalid bin Alwaleed Mosque in Sudan, opening an educational centre and dormitory as well as celebratory hall, a masjid, a clinic and orphan's secondary school in India.
