As part of Gulf Traffic Week, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority conducted a social experiment on its residents. While most agencies would go for the formal approach and advice residents about road safety, the awesome staff at RTA Dubai decided to take it a notch higher. As part of their #PauseForPedestrians campaign, they decided to pull a fast one on many Dubai residents while reminding them of proper ways to cross the road.

In the video, which has stunned many residents (especially those who were involved in the video), pedestrians can be seen crossing the road in places where there are no pedestrian crossings. At that, the RTA used alarm sounds to alert pedestrians who are not crossing at the designated areas. The results are just too funny to watch.
Time and again RTA Dubai has advised residents to use the designated pedestrians crossings to avoid any harm coming their way. Many road accidents can be averted by responsible road crossing. And if that doesn't work, get ready for the shock of your life when the blaring signals come to prank and remind you.
