Video: Fujairah bus driver drops off child at empty house

The girl was in physical danger and at risk of being affected by the heat.

Fujairah - An Emirates Transport official confirmed that his company had begun investigating the incident

A school bus driver and female supervisor dropped off a 4-year-old girl in front of her house, when her parents were not home.
The student of Al-Sharq Kindergarten was left all by herself on the street, where she stood for one hour, before a passerby saw her and took her to her grandmother's house. Emirates Transport is investigating the incident.
In a surveillance camera video released by the girl's parents and circulating since last week, the child is seen crying outside her parents' house from fear and confusion, stranded in the heat and not knowing where to go.
Mohammed Suhail Saeed of the East Coast Branch of Emirates Transport confirmed that his company had begun investigating the incident, as the girl was dropped off at her parents' even though she told the driver and supervisor that she wanted to be taken to her grandmother's home, as her parents were away at work. But the bus staff seem to have left her without ensuring that she entered the main entrance of the home.
This occurred even though the bus had picked her up from her grandmother's place that morning. After an hour, an Emirati Faisal Al Mazroui spotted the child and took her to her grandmother's house.
The child's aunt confirmed that she had indeed been picked up that morning by the school bus from her grandmother's, as her mother had dropped her off there before going to work. So it is unclear why both the driver and bus supervisor insisted on dropping her back at her parents'. The aunt said their actions put the girl in physical danger and at risk of being affected by the heat.
