Ruler of Sharjah issues decree on SCC elections

Article 3 of the decree stipulates that each constituency will have an electoral college with members named by the Ruler.

Sharjah - His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued Emiri Decree No. (59) of year 2015 on the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) elections.
Article 3 of the decree stipulates that each constituency will have an electoral college with members named by the ruler.
The emirate shall be divided into constituencies, based on the number of municipalities, with the representatives elected for the following SCC seats: Six for Sharjah City, three for Al Dhaid, three for Khor Fakkan, two for Dibba Al Hosn, one for Al Hamriya, one for Al Batayeh, one for Melaiha and one for Al Madam.
