Rulers offer prayers and greet people

Abu Dhabi - Rulers of the various emirates offered prayers in their respective emirates.

Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates expressed their wishes to the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Thursday on the occasion of the first day of Eid Al Adha and wished the country further progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.
This came when His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; received the Rulers, Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers at Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Earlier in the day, Rulers of the various emirates offered prayers in their respective emirates. In Dubai, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid offered prayers in the morning at the Shaikh Rashid Mosque in Zaabeel. He was joined by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, senior officials, citizens and residents.
Shaikh Mohammed later received at Zaabeel Palace, Dubai, well-wishers who came to offer greetings. Accepting greetings along with Shaikh Mohammed were Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed; Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid; and Shaikh Maktoum.
In Abu Dhabi, Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed offered prayers at the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque. He was joined by Shaikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Lt.-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Shaikhs, senior officials, diplomats, citizens and residents.
Later, Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed received Eid Al Adha greetings from Shaikhs, senior officials, citizens and residents. Accepting greetings along with him were Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region; Shaikh Saif; Shaikh Surour; and other senior officials.
In Sharjah, Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, offered prayers at Al Badee Mosque accompanied by Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Shaikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Shaikhs, senior officials, dignitaries, citizens and residents.
In Ajman, Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi offered prayers at the Shaikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi Mosque accompanied by Shaikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince; Shaikhs, senior officials, citizens and residents.
In Fujairah, Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, along with Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince; Shaikhs and worshippers offered prayers at the new Shaikh Zayed Mosque.
In Umm Al Qaiwain, Shaikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, offered prayers accompanied by Shaikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain; Shaikhs, officials and citizens at the Shaikh Zayed Mosque.
Eid Al Adha prayer was also offered at the Grand Eid Mussala in Khuzam, Ras Al Khaimah, by Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, who was joined by Shaikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince; Shaikhs, officials and citizens.
