Over 8,300 cars recalled in UAE, do you own these brands?

More than 8,300 vehicles have been recalled in the UAE due to technical faults in passenger airbags and batteries of different models.
As part of recall campaign, the Japanese automaker Infiniti is recalling 7,049 vehicles of FX35 models of 2003-2008 and M35 models of 2006-2010. While Renault is recalling 1,319 vehicles of its Symbol models of 2017-18.
"There is some possibility that passenger airbag module did not perform well due to the effect of environmental moisture and fluctuating high temperature. Infiniti has decided to replace the passenger airbag inflators at no cost," Infiniti distributors Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masood Automobiles said.
Lexus recalls cars in UAE for safety reasons
Both the distributors said they would contact the owners of the affected models to inform them about the situation.
The French automaker Renaults distributors - Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masood Automobiles - said the recall is due to the battery not meeting the carmaker's design standard.
