Air Arabia flight G9824 to Peshawar was forced to make an emergency landing at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport this morning after taking off from the same airport at 5 am because a Pakistani passenger suffered a heart attack. The passenger died during his transfer by ambulance to a hospital in the emirate. The pilot called the control tower to ask to allow him to make an emergency landing and to call an ambulance to transport the passenger to the hospital. The spokesman for the airline said the flight had returned 47 minutes after takeoff. The crew gave urgent medical assistance to the passenger on the plane before landing. The airline re-scheduled the flight and stressed that the safety of passengers is a top priority. The rescheduled flight then took off and landed in Peshawar at 02:00PM (local time in Peshawar).
