In a drill carried out by security forces in Ras Al Khaimah, a school bus was surrounded by three vehicles and ambushed by armed men.

The video clip, uploaded on Instagram by user rakboy783, who has 83,000 followers on the platform, shows the bus slowing to a halt as it is immediately surrounded by three vehicles.

The video shows one vehicle overtaking the bus from the left before speeding ahead and stopping in front of the bus. Simultaneously, a van comes to a halt on the right side of the bus, while a third vehicle blocks the rear end of the bus.

Seconds later over 10 armed men get out of the vehicles and surround the bus, while one of them forces open the door. Flashes depicting gunshots are also seen, while smoke behind the bus adds to the drama.

The team of men then splits into two. While one team enters the bus, the other stands outside, guns on the ready.

Soon, attackers hiding inside the bus is apprehended and escorted out.
Forces across the UAE regularly carry out safety and security drills. In October the Dubai Police put up a video depicting forces tackling protesters in the emirate (read story here). Fire safety drills in malls, offices and residential buildings are also very common.
