UAE temperature dips to a 2°C low

Residents of the UAE can expect at least two more days of cool and partly cloudy weather, according to a bulletin from the country's National Centre of Seismology and Meteorology (NCMS).
Sunday saw relatively chilly temperatures across the country, with lows of between 14 degrees and 17 degrees and highs of only between 20 and 22 in coastal areas, and lows of between seven and 13 degrees in internal areas and highs of between 21 and 24 degrees.

Mountainous areas were even colder, with chilly lows of between two and eight degrees, and highs of eight to 15 degrees.
Waters were reported to be rough in the Arabian Sea, and moderate in the Sea of Oman.

On Sunday, social media was abuzz with residents who were pleased and surprised at the cool weather.
"Good morning run in Dubai," wrote one local man. "Weather is perfect."
