FACT: Many UAE residents enjoy going out on the weekends, especially during the holidays. While there is a fair slice of the crowd that prefers staying in, many still prefer to enjoy the company of friends or family while enjoying the UAE's list of interesting landmarks. We say list because, the UAE's list of landmarks go on and on and what better way to enjoy the long weekend than check them out? Bonus: They are also extremely photogenic locations.

Martyr's Monument, Wahat Al Karam
Inaugurated only this week on the event of the UAE Martyr's Day, Wahat al Karam in Abu Dhabi is a prestigious memorial filled with open spaces - a worthy salute to the martyrs who laid their lives for the country.
