"I was with my colleague in Al Nahda area when we spotted a man, who is the accused, putting massage business cards on the front of cars. The business apparently had no permit. We watched him and it turned out that the number on the cards belongs to him. I spoke to him as a potential customer. He told us the massage centre is located in the same area and they have Chinese women and other nationalities working there. I told him I would meet him to take me there".
The corporal met the accused a while later near a park and showed him his official card. "We told him we are from the residency directorate. We asked for his ID but he stalled. We arrested him and then he started to resist in an attempt to escape being taken into custody," the officer said.

"As my colleague walked few steps away to lead a patrol force of the GDRFA to our location the accused suddenly took a knife out of his pocket and slashed my right wrist and ran away".
The police was called and the corporal received treatment at hospital.
The corporal's colleague said the arrest was made near the building where the massage centre is located. "We took him aside to the car park to avoid any gathering of people there. He would not show an ID and as I was talking on the phone to lead the patrol officers to where we are he attacked my colleague with a knife".
