The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has discovered new evidence in the two-year old public money embezzlement lawsuit, proving that some partners in the United States and other countries are involved. The announcement was made by Hassan Saeed Muhaimed, Attorney-General of RAK on Monday.
"The expanded investigations conducted by the public funds prosecution in Ras Al Khaimah against former government officials have led to new evidence against other partners involved in the fraud from the US and other countries."
The Attorney-General said that the RAK Public Prosecution, in a bid to eradicate the hotbeds of corruption, has launched intensive investigations, over the last two years, in a number of lawsuits involving public money embezzlement as well as public office abuse and damage.
