Pulling of such stunts on public roads is banned in Dubai. The teenager will be referred to Juvenile prosecution.

Due to the constant monitoring by specialised traffic teams at various police stations, and strong presence of CCTV cameras, along with the cooperation of members of the public, any one indulging in such stunts that endanger the lives of others, will not go scot-free, said Major-General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police for criminal investigation.
He said that according to Decree No. 29 of 2015, issued by the government of Dubai, violator's bike will be seized and will not be handed over unless the person pays a hefty fine of Dh100,000. Major-General Al Mansouri said the police learnt about the incident when an onlooker took a video of the teenager performing the wheelie and sent it to the Dubai Police via its smart phone application.
