Emirates Transport will now provide the Ministry of Finance (MoF) with electric-powered vehicles. The move comes following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two.
The agreement comes as part of MoF's commitment to support sustainable energy resources in line with UAE vision 2021, by using sustainable transport services offered by Emirates Transport - which contribute to clean energy and provide a healthy and safe environment.
The MoU was signed by Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary of MoF; and Mohammed Abdullah Al Jarman, the General Manager of Emirates Transport, on the Ministry of Economy (MoE) premises in Dubai. Under this MoU, Emirates Transport will provide MoF with electric-powered vehicles following the higher authorities' approval of the project's terms and conditions.
