An Indian storekeeper joined the list of Dubai Duty Free millionaires as his lucky ticket no. 1584 in Series 235 was drawn on Tuesday morning at the Dubai International Airport.
Ajesh Padmanabhan, who lives in Sharjah, couldn't believe he won a $1 million dollars. He is a regular participant in the Millennium Millionaire promotion. The father of two, who works as a store keeper at the Federal Electricity and Water Authority, was speechless. All he could muster was: "Thank you Dubai Duty Free for my win!"
Following the draw, two winners were announced in the Finest Surprise Promotion.
Dany Zahra, a Dubai-based Lebanese national, purchased winning ticket no. 0729 in Series 1640 under his daughter Daniella Zahra's name and won an Aston Martin Vantage Sportshift (Stratus White). Zaha is the managing director of a construction company and will celebrate his birthday in a few days.
Prajwal Raj Paudel, a Nepalese from Dubai, has become a second time winner of a Ducati Monster Bike 821 (Red) in Series 297 with ticket no 0674. He won his first bike on December 20, 2016.
