US President Donald Trump will host His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, next week, the White House said on Tuesday.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Trump will meet Sheikh Mohamed at the White House, on Monday, May 15. He said the meeting will help the US deepen its cooperation with a key partner in the Middle East.
The meeting will come before Trump departs later this month for his first foreign trip, which will begin in Saudi Arabia. The president has voiced support for promoting peace in the Middle East and rooting out Daesh from the region.
