With another work week in full swing, morning rush hour clogged the usual Sharjah-Dubai roads on Wednesday morning.
According to Google Maps, traffic clogged roads across Sharjah causing long tailbacks on Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road in particular.
Besides the usual slow moving traffic on the popular Dubai-Sharjah highway - around Al Taawun and Al Nahda - an accident was reported Al Ittihad Road E/11.
Motorists are advised to drive safely and take alternate routes where possible.
