Motorists experienced significant delays reported in parts of Dubai during the rush hour commute on Sunday morning.
Accidents slowed down traffic on parts of Dubai's roads, especially on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Road towards Abu Dhabi.
Polpular monitoring page on Twitter, TrafficDXB and Abu Dbahbi Police tweeted about accidents on these arterial roads:

Multiple accidents took place on E611-Emirates Road in between E88 Al Dhaid Road and S116 Maliha Road intersections towards Abu Dhabi, reported TrafficDXB.

Another accident has been reported on Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Road before airport road intersection towards Abu Dhabi causing massive congestion and delays.
In the capital, a bus broke down on the Sheikh Zayed Street at Sea palace underpass outbound, Abu Dhabi traffic police tweeted.

According to Google Maps data, huge tailbacks were observed on Sheikh Zayed Road towards Dubai from Sharjah.
