UAE residents were greeted with strong, early morning rains as they woke up today.
Multiple heavy rain warnings were issued by the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology throughout the morning. Rain warnings included areas in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah. Motorists are also warned of puddles of water which may cause damage to vehicles.
The NCMS has also warned of unstable weather in general. Visibility - especially in exposed and open areas may be impeded up to 1000 metres.
Dubai residents were greeted with strong rains this morning. Motorists also had a tough time on the road as most roads became flooded.
Abu Dhabi meanwhile has experienced hail falling in certain areas. It can be recalled that on Friday, Sharjah faced the same weather conditions.
The NCMS also warned motorists of certain areas around the country as they might be heavily affected by the rain.

Water logging, flooding and landslides were reported in different parts of the UAE during the first wave, which started Monday evening
Residents across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah reported rainfall of varying intensities as a low-pressure system swept across the country
These conditions are attributed to the extension of a surface low-pressure system from the southwest
Other emirates like Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain and Umm Al Quwain have been experiencing the wet spell since morning
Temperatures may drop to 16 degrees Celsius in the mountains but can go as high as 38 degrees Celsius in internal regions
