Weather forecasters said the 'Spring Moderation' -the period between winter and summer is likely to begin from March 21.
The 'Spring Moderation' is characterised by variation in pressure system which causes fast changes in weather during day and night and the climate.
The National Meteorology and Seismology Centre in Abu Dhabi (NMSC) in Abu Dhabi said in statement that during this transition period, the sun becomes perpendicular over the equator, then it moves northward due to the circulation of earth, and in which the day period gradually increases.
The forecasters also predicted chances of light rains in northern parts of the country over the coming days as clouds gather and temperatures rise.
"The northwesterly winds will be moderate becoming fresh at times, and will be loaded with dust/sand which can cause poor visibility," said the statement.
"Significant fall in temperature will be seen over several areas on Tuesday. Clouds will also appear on Monday during afternoon and will continue to appear until Tuesday afternoon."
The cloud amount will increase over some areas, especially the coastal and northern areas due to the extension of weak upper air low pressure, with a chance of rainfall over some of these areas.
Temperatures will range from 15°C to 36°C along the coast, 12°C to 25°C in the mountains and 14°C to 35°C inland.
Sea will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf.
