If you are an early riser, you must have noticed the wet roads and rains this morning. Thunder rains hit Fujairah, Sharjah, Al Ain and adjoining areas while it rained moderately in other parts.
It's time to be careful as The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology has forecasted thunder rains for today. Light to moderate rains continue in the city disrupting daily lives of commuters.  

Dubai
Rains started at 4 am in the morning in Dubai and light rains continue during the day. The Discovery Gardens was worst affected leading to water logging in internal areas.

Ras Al Khaimah
After heavy rains and flooding in some parts of Ras Al Khaimah, the RAK Police and Public Works Department geared up to ensure traffic flow and clear out the accumulated rainwater.

Abu Dhabi 
Daily life in the emirate has been dirupted by the incessant rains since morning.
According to the weather department, the weather will continue to be unstable with towering clouds gathering over the city. There will be a significant drop in the temperature.
Sharjah
Heavy rains lashed Sharjah, slowing down traffic on most roads. 
 
Strong winds and dust might cause poor visibility of less than 1000 metres on the roads.
NCMS in a series of tweets has been sharing updates about rains in the early hours over various parts of the emirates. Thunder rains hit Fujairah, Sharjah, Al Ain and adjoining areas. While it rained heavily in Khalifa city, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and few others parts.
The Emirates might experience more rains this week. Yesterday, the NCMS had issued a notification that it would rain for the next 5 days.

It's a dark day with light to moderate rains, so be cautious if are driving down to work.
According to the statement issued by NCMS, the weather on Wednesday would be partly cloudy with moderate winds in general, fresh at times. This may cause blowing sand and dust and poor visibility over exposed areas. Seas will be moderate, rough at times in the Arabian Gulf, and moderate in the Sea of Oman.
