The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) issued a notification yesterday that foggy and rainy weather is expected to continue across the country for the next five days.
The day today looks partly cloudy and the temperature might reach 28 degrees during the afternoon.
For today forecast, the NCMS has reported that clouds might increase over western coast and the islands with a possibility of light to moderate rains.
There are also chances for the relative humidity to increase during the night and early morning hours.

A forecaster from NCMS told Khaleej Times, "The clouds will remain and with it will likely see light to moderate rain, especially over the western parts of the country. The rain will mostly occur during the morning hours."
With clouds increasing at different times throughout the day, he added that there will also be a high chance of rainfall over northern areas on Wednesday too, along with moderate to light winds felt across the whole country.
Temperatures are expected to remain stable, with lows of 27°C and highs of 33°C, but humidity will definitely increase, he said. "As a result of the increasing humidity, we will witness mist and fog, especially during the late night and early morning hours. Motorists should take precautions during these times."
With the relative humidity increasing, he added that the probability of mist formation over some internal and western areas is more likely than in other areas.
For those not quite enjoying the wintry lashings, it is expected to start clearing by Thursday or Friday, although cloud will remain, but in lighter batches. And for beachgoers, winds over the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will be light to moderate with onshore waves reaching 1-2 feet and offshore waves reaching 2-4 feet.
NCMS's warning for motorists to drive safely continues as fog was spotted in Ras Al Khaimah and it could lead to poor visibility on the roads.
