Video: Heavy downpour in parts of Abu Dhabi

Clouds can be seen looming in the sky

A spate of rain hit the western parts of Abu Dhabi specifically the Dhafra region and the Liwa Oasis area.
Videos of the odd weather occurrence were shared by @storm_centre on their Twitter page. Several of the videos show children playing around the water. Some houses within the Liwa area were also affected by the sudden rainfall.
However, summer heat continues to prevail within the Abu Dhabi cityscape with humidity levels ranging between 50 to 80 per cent according to an early morning weather report. The morning report also forecast the possibility of rains as the amount of clouds will increase, especially over eastern and southern areas by afternoon.
