UAE woke up to heavy rains on Saturday morning, accompanied with lightning and thunderstorms over Abu Dhabi, Bateen and Khalifa A - local met department, NCMS reported.
The National Centre of Meterology and Seismology has issued multiple rain warnings earlier in the day. Light to heavy rainfall occurred in the emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Today's rainfall can be attributed to the dust storm that the country experienced on Friday, according to forecasts.
According to the NCMS, cloud amount will decrease gradually with some rainfall during the day.
Fresh northwesterly winds in general, strong at times over the sea and the exposed areas, causing blowing dust/sand with poor visibility at times with significant fall of temperatures.
Sea will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough in Oman Sea.
